Timescales for the installation were monitored and reviewed as appropriate. To ensure that the installation was seamless, the installation date was amended by one week to the end of November.

November 2007

  • LSE engineer arrives onsite and supervises the movement of the direct laser engraving machinery to its destination along the designated route.
  • The LSE engineer supervised movement and unpacking of all the items provided.
  • The computer design system was updated with the relevant software for this installation and a proposal was made for annual maintenance.
  • Installation of the electrical installation, generator and compressed air systems was supervised with the site electricians and Caterpillar generator local agents.
December 2007
  • The full installation was tested on both electrical supplies and both tests were successful.
  • The installation was completed and LSE engineer left the site on 17th December as the site was closed for the Hajj and Christmas holidays.
